Meet Our Team

Freya Perraton

Freya received her diploma in Early Learning and Care (with distinction) from Camosun College and has continued her post diploma education in the Child and Youth Care program at the University of Victoria. She has spent extensive time working in inclusion support over the years and has inclusion specific specialty education. Freya has worked in a wide variety of early learning environments and brings six years of co-operative preschool experience to her role at Cordova Bay Preschool.

She is passionate about learning through play and the impact of the “three teachers” (the parents, the educator, and the environment) on the wonder of children. Freya came to early learning with a fine arts background and enjoys bringing this experience through preschool art invitations. She believes that when educators and families work in partnership children thrive. Freya is pleased to bring her experience, passion and a little bit of magic to the children and families at Cordova Bay.
